Mexican’s Sign Petition Supporting US Gun Control

Posted on January 15, 2013. Filed under: Gun Control, Politics |

On January 14, 2013, a petition signed by 54,000 Mexicans was presented to the US embassy, supporting stronger gun laws in the US. Since 2006, 70,000 people have been murdered by gun violence, despite Mexico having the toughest gun laws in the world.

I sympathize with their plight, however, stronger gun control laws here won’t abate their problem. Especially when it is the US government supplying the weapons. Fast & Furious, anyone?

What they need is stronger border security, just like we need stronger border security.

Maybe we could arrange a deal. They keep people from crossing the border into the US illegally, and we will crack down on weapons smugglers and the US government.

Thank you Eric Holder, for helping to contribute to the hell those people have to live in.
