The Press Turns on Obama

The scandals for the Obama administration continue to grow as President Perk continues to bob and weave while absorbing massive body blows. Jay Carney looks ready to quit his job. Or crap himself.

The list is ever growing, not just of scandals, but of national embarrassments as well, and we don’t know if we have even seen the worst of it yet.

  1. Benghazi
  2. The IRS
  3. The Department of Justice’s secret subpoenas of AP phone records
  4. Fast & Furious
  5. Solyndra and other green energy companies
  6. Sending F-16s to Egypt
  7. Support for the Muslim Brotherhood over Israel
  8. Making sequester cuts public and as painful as possible (enough money for Secret Service to escort daughter and friends to Mexico and Aspen, but not enough to keep White House tours open)
  9. Multi-million dollar vacations for him, his wife and children

Politico is reporting that Obama is now officially on par with Jimmy Carter. Washington DC has turned on him. Democrat lawmakers and power players in Washington are finally stepping forward an saying that he is not approachable, that he has never so much as invited them to Camp David for drinks, that he is petulant, arrogant, defensive, and has a tendency to lecture. He rules from his throne on high.

Things we have been saying all along.

So, if the Democrats were not fans of this man, it is more important to put party ahead of country and re-elect this clown?

The press has turned on him. People have been questioning for some time why the press has been running interference for him. Now that he has gone after the Associated Press, in the name of “national security”, all of them are scared.

At the same time, they are now rushing forward to say how bad and evil this man is, the man they have defended and protected for the past four years. It turns out he’s a meanie and a shady character.

Really? You just figured that out?

Conservatives have been complaining about the Chicago machine his entire administration and have been written off as nothing more than a bunch of tin foil hat conspiracy theorists.

The question has been asked where the buck stops, who has the ultimate responsibility. It’s not Obama. He had no idea that “investigation” was going on. It’s not AG Eric “Fast & Furious” Holder’s fault, it was his deputy.

No knowledge despite the fact that this administration has prosecuted twice as many whistleblowers than all other administrations since the Espionage Act of 1917 was passed into law. That is a period of 96 years!

From that NY Times piece: The Obama administration, which promised during its transition to power that it would enhance “whistle-blower laws to protect federal workers,” has been more prone than any administration in history in trying to silence and prosecute federal workers.

When you cross this President, you suddenly find yourself in shark infested waters.

Hasn’t the press figured this President out yet? He is the most transparent President ever!

Transparent, because if he says one thing, it is guaranteed he is going to do the exact opposite, making him very predictable.

His lies have been well documented, and now that the press has awoke to the fact that the emperor, or dictator in this case, has no clothes. They are no longer buying it. Well, not all of them needed to wake up. Jake Tapper has been a thorn in this President’s side since the beginning. Tapper is one of the few reporters with integrity, in my opinion.

Even Dana Milbank of the Washington Post, one of the President’s staunchest defenders, has turned on him.

President Passerby needs urgently to become a participant in his presidency.

This President is more interested in prosecuting those who he feels are his enemies rather than criminals.

Look at the IRS scandal. He has said that he doesn’t want to jump to conclusions before he has all the information. Press Secretary Jay Carney, reflecting what the President said, had the audacity to say:

“Those from the IRS that have spoken about this obviously have much greater insight into what took place than we do. We have not seen the report. We have not independently collected information about what transpired. We need the independent inspector general’s report to be released before we can make judgments. One person’s view of what actions were taken or what that individual did is not enough for us to say something concretely happened that was inappropriate.”

Even though the IRS admitted to doing this, some in the press are still calling the actions “alleged”, and the Press Secretary comes out and says, “even though they confessed, we want to wait until we see the report before we make any conclusions”.

This is the same claptrap that the President says (or sends Carney out to say) whenever anything happens.

According to David Gregory of NBC, the White House is now blaming the Treasury Department for not dealing with this fast enough. Once again, it isn’t the White House, it is someone else.

Consider this. Why would Timothy Geithner want to deal with the IRS? He’s a tax evader, remember?

People on both sides are outraged by this, and rightly so. If the IRS can target conservative groups, they can just as easily target liberal groups. Unless your name is Obama, then you get yours rammed through in a month.

A recent Rasmussen poll shows that 57% of respondents want someone jailed or fired. Jail time would be preferable, because the message must be sent that this is an egregious abuse of power, and will not be tolerated. I suggest we start with the President.

When Obama needs a lifeline, we can expect David Axelrod to emerge, and he predictably went on MSNBC.

“Part of being president is there’s so much beneath you that you can’t know because the government is so vast,” he explained.

Wait a second. What just happened here? What did he just say?

Did David Axelrod just admit that the government is TOO FRICKIN’ BIG?

Nixon was elected in 1968 with Spiro T. Agnew. Agnew resigned in disgrace, and served no jail time for taking bribes while Governor of Maryland. Agnew was a crook, and so was his boss. Birds of a feather, so to speak. Nixon didn’t serve any jail time, either.

Nixon and Agnew were both crooks and liars. Obama is is a crook and a liar, but his VP is just a simple idiot. No matter what, Obama will not go to jail.

Take that into consideration. If Obama is impeached and removed from office, or he resigns, we have Walter, the ventriloquist’s dummy to serve the remainder of Obama’s term.

Hillary better think twice about running in 2016 after all of this, especially if it gets worse and Obama resigns or is removed from office. Every Democrat will be splashed by the shit coming out of this fan.
